A lot of people (especially in the U.S.) have been really antsy this whole pandemic but especially lately.
Over the past few years, I have developed a deep appreciation for the work of Khalil Gibran, a Lebanese-American poet whose words always lead me to self-reflect after reading them.
As an avid fan of new school rap and hip hop, of course, I was looking forward to the long-awaited Whole Lotta Red by Playboi Carti. Personally, I consider myself somewhat of a Carti fan, particularly his self-titled mixtape and Die Lit, so it was a Christmas miracle when he dropped WLR this past holiday season.
Let me start by saying I have watched them all. When I say “all,” I mean all of the romantic, lovey-dovey, quirky TV shows on Netflix. Gossip Girl, The Vampire, Diaries, Grey’s Anatomy, El Barco – you name it, I have seen it. This why I have decided to call myself a professional in the field of romantic TV shows. I have the experience, passion, and an absurd amount of obsessions towards them all, which makes me quite frankly the best author to write on this subject.
Have you ever wanted to go on a social media cleanse? Does going on Instagram make you feel terrible and lead to comparison with others? Well, maybe that’s a sign you need a break. Lots of people have done it, and it doesn’t have to be permanent. Social media is a great way to keep in touch with people but may contribute to unhealthy comparison and even more loneliness.
For me, it all started because of TikTok. I would constantly see videos being made using a short clip of this song that I have never heard of. It was calm and strong at the same time and most of the videos were of people carefully listening, vibing with it or making a cover to it. My relationship with cereal is a delicious one full of sugar and plenty of almond milk. I became an avid fan of cereal when I migrated to the States since this was not a popular breakfast food in Peru, but it sure is in the good old U.S. of A.
According to encyclopedia.com, etiquette is a set of rules when dealing with the outside world, and manners are the expression of inner character. Emily Post stated that manners are common sense, and etiquette is its language. I don’t know much about her, but she was the expert on etiquette.
There’s nothing better in this world than delicious food, and food from different countries is even better. I haven’t travelled to any other countries besides Peru but I do love trying out different cuisines and living near a metropolitan area makes that pretty easy. This post will be dedicated to my country’s cuisine showing a few of the many dishes out there and some of the influential flavors that can be found in this cuisine.
At first, I thought this album was a joke. Not in a bad way, just in a ‘what the fuck?’ kind of way. It has 22 songs, no solid concept, and an odd-ass intro. The 1975 is no stranger to odd intros, but this one was stranger than usual.
